Getting Started
This is a very simple tutorial, but first you must know how to convert, and upload your music.- First download this radioblog file: Radioblog 2.4. Unzip it using Winzip.
- You will find TWO folders, and ONE file.
- Edit your CONFIG and your stylesheet file (config.xml & rb.css)
- Now upload your files:
- index.html
- config.xml
- playlist.xml
- radioblog_80_15.gif
- banner.php
- radioblog.swf
- rb.css
- rb.js
- rbcore.swf
- version.ini
to a folder called: radioblog. You can change the name to anything. Once you're done, open upplaylist.xml. You will need to insert the songs by yourself, whereas if you use the PHP version, it autimatically generates the playlist itself. You will see the follwing code:
<track trackMod="1089216396" title="TITLE OF SONG" path="http://(URL OF SONG)" />
- Copy and paste the code as much as you need. Replace TITLE OF SONG with the titles & singer (optional), and URL of song with the URL file. You have to have them uploaded somewhere. I would recommend FreeWebTown (http://www.freewebtown.com) if you know any other good host, let me know!
- Once you're done copying the code from above, end it with this
- You're done! Through your browser, go your radioblog folder:
http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/radioblog/
you should be able to see your radioblog.
Optional
- If you're going to have it embedded on your page, like the example above, use the following code:
- If you want it to popup, use the following code:
- If you want a transparent background, replace <bg_opacity value="0" /> with <bg_opacity value="0" />
